Episode Transcript
Well, hello everyone. Hello everyone, and welcome to the 'World According to Gemini'. This podcast is dedicated to this very unfortunate group of people who had misfortune, or who were lucky to be born under this unique sign. I will explain later why this sign is so unique. And as for the rest of you, you can look at this as some sort of user manual, because I'm sure that practically all of you have a friend who is Gemini, or relative or partner, God help you!. And as you know, every sign has good traits and bad traits. And talking about Gemini bad traits.... we are always accused of being inconsistent, unreliable, having two different personalities. And the thing is that some of that is true. But if you were able to get into our minds, hearts and souls, you would understand what actually is happening. That might help you a lot, if you, for example, want to have a meaningful, positive interaction with Gemini, which will not include strangulation, decapitation or rat poison in your morning coffee, then you really should go through this podcast, because I'll tell what we're going to do. We're going to discuss the 'World'. We're going to talk about politics, about health, music, arts, motorbikes, Soviet army, about cats, dogs, about food, about absolutely everything from the Gemini point of view, which is, as I said, quite unique. And that will definitely help you understand what makes us 'Us'. And now I'm going to read you a document which I wrote a couple of years ago. It is called a 'Gemini User Manual'. And before I do that, you might notice that I'm not a native English speaker, so I make a lot of mistakes and my accent sucks.
I was a horrible student. I never managed to learn English properly, so I chance a lot, but hopefully you understand what I'm saying. Just bear with me. So here it is, 'Gemini' user manual. It goes like this. '
If you are one, you came to the right place. If you know one, you came to the right place. If you are in a relationship with one (God help you), you came to the right place. If you're trying to figure out how Gemini operate, you came to the right place. You might just get a glimpse of what is going on inside our heads and hearts. None of what is said here should be taken 100% seriously. That is your first lesson in dealing with Gemini. Actually, it's very simple. There are two completely different characters inside every Gemini. They are constantly contradicting and fighting each other over absolutely everything. There are no victors in this eternal fight, but victims. Unfortunately, it includes everyone around as well. In Gemini world, everything is dual and polarities have a tendency to flip every now and then. Rights and wrongs change places at random. Good becomes bad, right becomes left and up goes down in a moment. There is never middle ground. Everything is extreme and therefore highly dramatic. One minute you are on top of the world, next minute you want to cease to exist and all of this happens without any reason or logic whatsoever.
Gemini fully understand the importance of emotions and intuition but trying to rationalize everything. They absorb knowledge like a sponge but find it difficult to apply it practically. They can give you a great advice but will not follow yours. They study but don't learn. They long for peace but create war. They run around in circles but what they really want is to put their feet up and not to see or hear anyone for year or two. Very soon they will start feeling lonely and abandoned. Go figure. Gemini usually have a great sense of humour but are famous for saying wrong things at the wrong time. They are known for doing something wrong and then getting punished for something they didn't do. Because of this, most Gemini spend their lives feeling victimized and constantly drift from one guilt trip to another. Gemini can start something new in a moment's notice. They get bored with everything routine and find it very easy to change jobs, places and hobbies, but could not keep on for long enough to make a difference. Here's a good example. I'm 60 years old. I used to be a violinist, plumber, radio presenter, mechanic, welder, composer, tank driver, builder, interpreter, bike racer, sound engineer, software tester, producer, military policeman, road manager, teacher, carpenter and lecturer. I play violin, viola, bass, keyboards and guitar, none of which I learned well enough to turn the world around. I write stories but cannot push myself to learn English grammar. My head is full of melodies which could make me a famous composer and ideas which could make me a famous writer. I write them down but when I look at them later, they don't make any sense whatsoever. I read hundreds of books but I don't remember most of them. In other words, I am Gemini'.
That was a little introduction which I wrote before I started podcast, so let's see how long it will last. The only advice I can give to someone who is stuck with Gemini is this. Let them be. Accept them without conditions. Gemini don't perform well under stress and if you try to change any aspect of their life or character, the consequences will be catastrophic. For you, first of all.
Let them be and you might have a chance of a meaningful interaction.
For a while.
Okay. That was the last sentence that basically summarized the most important aspects of Gemini. And as I said, none of that should be taken 100% seriously. This is your first lesson in dealing with Gemini.
So, we are going to be discussing absolutely everything, and I'm going to be politically incorrect, I'm going to say horrible things, I'm going to say something not nice. We will discuss everything. And the only difference is that everything will be seen from the point of Gemini. The last thing before I sign off. Do you remember I said that Gemini are unique people? We are unique. Yes, indeed we are, because we were born under the sign which is the only true dual sign. Don't believe those people who say there is another sign, which dual. No, absolutely not. Pisces. They might know, rationally or intellectually, that the world is dual and that the minimum of sides in every scenario is two and there is about 7 million different colours between black and white, that there's never a scenario where somebody is 100% right or 100% wrong, or there is no such a thing as a universal truth or universal evil or universal goodness. Everything is on a spectrum. They know that, but they don't live in it. The only group of people who truly exist in this mishmash are Gemini. We are it.
And so, all those contradictions and all this confusion, this is what makes us what we are. And the sooner you understand what is happening inside us, the chance of you having a good interaction with Gemini, you will have.
I am going to sign off right now. Thank you for listening. And I can tell you what it is we're going to discuss in the next podcast. I was put forcefully between the boy and the girl. The girl was German. The boy was British, and they met in a place called Temple Bar in Dublin. And then they met, and I think everything was going pretty smooth. And they were about to start a relationship, but it took them two days to realize something very important. They realized that the girl was a vegetarian, and the boy was not. He was a killer. He was a meat eater. He was a murderer. And it just happened that when they realized what they are, I was there and I was between them. And they forcefully dragged me into this conversation, which turned into argument, which turned into a little war. When they started, they wanted to kill each other. And in about 20 or 30 minutes, when I opened my mouth, they wanted to kill me, both of them. And they both hated me for what I said. That's a fate of every Gemini. So that is what we're going to be discussing in our next podcast. The wrongs and rights of killers, meat eaters, and of those who kill and murder vegetables and so forth and so on. I don't want to open all my secrets right now, so thank you so much and I will see you very soon.
Goodbye.
